  • 11 Jul 2026: Initial release. Both salaries run through the full statutory engine - EPF Third Schedule, SOCSO First Category, EIS Act 800 and the LHDN computerized MTD formula - the same engine as HRWork payroll, so you see exactly how much of a raise survives the deductions.

About the Salary Increment Calculator

Naik gaji RM500, berapa sampai bank? This calculator runs your current and new salary through the full Malaysian statutory stack - EPF per the KWSP Third Schedule, SOCSO, EIS and PCB per the LHDN computerized MTD formula - and puts the two take-homes side by side. You see the raise in gross, the raise in net, and the percentage of every raise ringgit that actually reaches your pocket.

The engine is the same one behind HRWork payroll. Comparing job offers? Check both with the Salary Calculator including allowances and bonus.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my take-home increase smaller than my raise?
Every extra ringgit of salary carries EPF (11%), possibly higher SOCSO and EIS brackets, and PCB at your marginal tax rate - so a RM500 raise typically adds roughly RM380 to RM430 of take-home, depending on your bracket.
Does a raise change my tax bracket?
A raise increases your projected annual chargeable income, which can push part of it into a higher bracket. Only the amount inside the higher band is taxed at the higher rate - the rest of your income is unaffected.
Should I compare offers in gross or net?
Always check the net. Two offers with the same gross can land differently once EPF elections, allowances and benefits differ. This calculator shows the statutory net for any two salaries.

Both salaries are computed with the official EPF Third Schedule, PERKESO SOCSO and EIS Act 800 tables, and the LHDN Specification for MTD Computerized Calculation - the same statutory engine that powers HRWork payroll. Steady-state estimates excluding TP1 reliefs, zakat and mid-year changes. Always refer to LHDN, KWSP and PERKESO for official figures.
